In its February issue, Génération sans Permis (magazine dedicated to vehicles that can be driven without license), has tested the Estrima Biro... And it was a nice try!
At
the begining of 2010, the OVE Tour (Observatoire du Véhicule d'Entreprise) of Marseille, have given many professionnals (e.g. Jean-Loup SAVIGNY – Sales Manager of ARVAL France
/ Manager of DEXIA Long Duration Rental, Patrice ROTA – External
Relations Europe – MICHELIN, or Jérôme
CICILE – Air Department and Transport Manager - ADEME PACA, ...) the opportunity
to get together around the same subject: the sustainable development.
Newteon, which was present on the event, has
introduced his last commercial vehicle model, the electric Fiat
Fiorino Micro-Vett. This vehicle totally matches
the needs of the companies, especially thanks to its range (from 70
to 150 km foolowing the model) and his loading capacity (2,8m3).
During
the event a model at the colors of Veolia was available for test drive.
EuAuto, MyCar's manufacturer, officially launched it on October 23rd in Hong Kong
A ceremony has taken place on October 23rd on the campus of PolyU Hong Kong.
MyCar (distributed by Newteon for several months), is the artwork of PolyU Hong Kong and EuAuto, who worked together to produce a 100% electric vehicle. It is the first ecological vehicle entirely manufactured on the territory to be certified in Europe and sold on foreign markets.
PolyU and EuAuto teams work hard to propose new versions of the MyCar (with lithium batteries, for example), with advanced technology.
This first version already has a great success, and this event has been reported by many medias.
When the electrical cars in Viking Rally were to show that they could drive Oslo – Stavanger in three days – Micro-Vetts Fiat Florino did it in 12 hours....
Micro-Vett’s Electric Fiat Fiorino travels 586 km in 12 hours
Stavanger (Norway), 13 may 2009 When speaking about electric vehicles, critics have always highlighted their lack of range.
Micro-Vett has now proven that this is no longer an issue. The solution lies in a charging system capable of re-energizing a vehicle’s batteries in the time it takes to have a coffee.
The desire was to demonstrate that existing technology could allow electric vehicles to enjoy the freedom of travel without limits, by depending on an accessible service network just like normal combustion engine vehicles.
All the team of NEWTEON was attending the Ever show 2009, which has taken place at the Grimaldi Forum from March 26th to March 29th.
The exposed vehicles have had a great success, such asthe MyCar and the electric Fiat 500 Micro-Vett. You will be able to read some articles presenting these vehicles on the AVEM , Moteur Nature , France3 , TF1 websites and in the Turbo programme on M6on April 4th.
The electric Fiat 500 Micro-Vett has also participated to the Alternative Energies Rallye of Monte-Carlo during the night of March 28th. Our team has been able to finish, despite an accident with another vehicle, that has caused more fear than damage!
We are now back at the office and answering to the various requests we had following the show.
French car magazine Argus
has published a French car market report since 1953 that has never
shown negative figures. That is, from 1953 to 2007, the average car
sold in France was always larger, more powerful, with more engine
displacement and more expensive than the average car from the year
before. 2008 ended that trend.
