The Iveco Daily is one of the most popular truck. Its main caracteristics are multitask applications, power and reliability.
This commercial vehicle has two parallel power systems :
- Electric for city centers
- Diesel for motorway or highways
Changing from one power system to the other is done at the push of a button and
the batteries are charged while running on diesel. The battery also
recovers energy every time the vehicle brakes or slows down. Of course,
batteries can be charged from a regular power socket. On average the hybrid system enables a 25% saving in fuel.
