Kiloutou, French reference for equipment rental and leasing, recently ordered several electrique vehicles to NEWTEON. This order concerns Electric Fiat Doblo and Electric Porter . These vehicles come from Micro-Vett's factory, leading manufacturer of electric vehicles in Europe, and are distributed by NEWTEON.

SAS ELEVE, NEWTEON's dealer in the Western France, recently organised a test drive of the Hybrid Iveco Daily by Micro-Vett to France Express & Geodis, company specialised in express deliveries.

This test concerned deliveries in the  city center of Chatellerault. France Express & Geodis' representant was very enthusiastic with the simplicity of use of the the vehicle that allows to drive all electric with no carbon emissions in urban areas and a fast and instantaneous passage in diesel mode for extra urban areas. 

NEWTEON will be on the starting line of the 8th edition of No Finish Line that will take place from November 17th to 25th 2007, all profits going to the association Children & Future.

The principle: to encourage as many people as possible to support action in aid of children who are sick or in difficulty, by completing in Monaco a 1200 metre circuit, either by running or walking on the main sea wall in Port Hercule. The course will be open for 24 hours for nine days and nine nights. The Children & Future Association has pledged to give 1 euro for each kilometre run to the cause.

On October 25th, NEWTEON signed the Junior Chamber of Monaco's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility Charter and confirmed its commitment en favor of sustainable development. Inspired by the Global Compact principles, this charter defines 10 points developing the 3 pillars of sustainable development: social progress, economic development and protection of environment.

On this occasion, Sergio Contaldo, Founder and General Manager of NEWTEON, was interviewed by Monaco Info about NEWTEON's commitment.

Fiat new born was presented on October 4th at Transpotec in Milan: the Fiat Fiorino. For the first time in the automotive history, the electric version, developped by Micro-Vett, was launched simultaneously with the endothermic version!

Fiat Research Centre actually asked Micro-Vett to take charge of the electrification of the Fiorino range. Micro-Vett already realises the Electric Fiat Doblò, distributed by NEWTEON.

Newteon is extending to the west of France. E.L.E.V.E, which is a specialist in electric and hybrid vehicles has joined NEWTEON's network.

Based in Poitiers, it will ensure Newteon's vehicles' distribution for the west region, from Aquitaine to Normandy.
