Follow up on the project of La Poste 500 EV

Last July, the association of FIAT PROFESSIONAL / MICRO-VETT/ NEWTEON has delivered an electric Fiat Doblo to La poste, which will be tested in Nantes technical center.

We remind you that this association has been pre-selected by La Poste within its international consultancy, launched to integrate 500 battery-driven vehicles in its fleet.
This vehicle, different from the standard vehicle, has been adapted to the needs of the group La Poste and will be tested during the summer. The experts of the technical center will verify point by point the technical correspondence of the prototype with the specifications supplied by La Poste.

If this stage is decisive, 4 to10 vehicles " head of series " will be delivered to La Poste, in order to be used in real conditions by postmen in autumn.

At the conclusion of this phase of experiment, La Poste will be able to choose, in full knowledge of the facts, his partners and evolve to a large-scale industrial order.
